and I feel silly asking but can you pay for park hopper passes with Disney dollars??? and.. What discounts will my dad be able to get for us being a annual passholder. I feel really silly considering I once worked for WDW.

I'm betting yes but want to be sure. Will probably be going late summer early fall and can pick up Disney $'s at Disney store in mall and make sure we don't spend our savings. I've also got a ING direct accounts set up and gonna open one more in dd's name for $ for us to use for her while there. I think buying Disney $'s is neat idea.

I'm excited and hope our trip plans this summer/fall work out otherwise dh and I were planning to plan a trip for next May.

Also would an annual pass be smart way to go if we plan to still go May 2006? Meaning do they go from the month you buy them to the next passing of that month or is it Jan to Dec??

When you buy an AP you'll get a voucher which will be activated upon first use. If you buy the AP voucher this month but don't go until July 4th, then the AP will be valid from 7/4/05 - 7/3/06. And yes, you can use Disney dollars to purchase APs, tickets, etc. Hopefully someone else will chime in with answers to your other Qs. Have a great trip!
