Stupid Question?

how long of a walk is it from BCV to BWV? we are trying to decide where to stay.BCV ,BWV, VWL.

Depending on which route you choose to walk, it will range from about 300 - 500 yards. You can also take the boat- that will save about 200 yards.

The resorts are located across Crescent Lake from each other and are connected by the Boardwalk. It is an easy stroll and will take 5- 10 minutes depending on how fast you walk.

The walk from either to VWL is several miles!

The walk from the lobby of BWV to the Epcot entrance at international gateway is 0.36 miles (633 yards). So that would be just about the same distance to the BCV's as the distance from the bridge to Epcot's IG entrance is probably about the same as from the bridge to the BCV's entrance (taking the shortest route through the gate and past the ground floor BC rooms, then zig-zag over toward the BCV entrance)

If you walk the long way, the distance from the BC/YC dock to the BW dock is 0.35 miles. Add a couple of hundred yards from the villas to the dock, and another 75 from the BW dock to the resort and you'd have at least 890 yards.

(I think Doc's estimates are a little low based on my actual measurements)

Thanks, Bill. You are the official DIS cartographer. I enjoyed your link on the path from OKW to DD as I plan to walk this one in a few weeks. Being outside in Florida will be a treat as we are stuck in winter here in Indiana.

From the main enterance at Publix, is it short to the frozen food section by going straight down isle 8 and turning left at the fruit & veggie section or turn left past the cashiers and right at the Wine and Beer section ?

The real answer, at Publix, you shoud ALWAYS go past the Wine and Beer section. Everything else in the store is secondary.

We NEVER go PAST the Wine and Beer section in Publix....we always stop and fill up!!!!
