stupid photopass question

The only thing you CAN'T get on your cd is the character's autographs or the special park logos on your pictures. If you want prints with those, you still have to buy them individually. They used to put these on the CD as well, but they stopped the week I was there in May. I think Photopass is one of the best things Disney has ever come up with!

But...the ones where the photog has you "hold" something (like Simba at AK or Tink at MK) do come through. It's only the after-effects from the website they stopped doing.

I'm curious why they stopped that; not surprised, but curious. I wonder if it was because of the copyright restrictions, or because if it's as popular as they hope it becomes people would spend hours at the machines customizing LOL. I'm assuming it's the former.

Are there also PhotoPass photographers at character meals?

We're doing several character meals to avoid standing in lines to meet the characters...if we can't have our pictures taken it sort of defeats the purpose.

Can you decide to purchase the CD at home or do you have to purchase right then at the park? If you can wait until you get home; how long do you have to order? Also, does anone know how long it takes to get the CD if you can purchase later? I guess it comes via US mail?!

They weren't at character meals back in May. I haven't heard anything about that recently. I'm guessing no, but I'd be happy to let you know for sure after my September trip!

hi guys, im off to disney in december, wanted to ask:

since im going in off peak time (11th to 21st) will there be lots of photographers around all the time? Also on the flip-side is there ever times where there are not enough and you are waiting for the photographer to be 'done' with someone elses pic's?

Much appreciated, also does the cd come in a gift box or anything sweet?

you can purchase the cd when you get home, but once you activate your cards, i believe you only have 30 days until your pictures are no longer on the computer system.

I THINK the cd comes ground shipment vs. air... and i heard if you ship stuff up from FL it could take up to two weeks. Im sure it all depends on where you live.... i'm in Minnesota, so it would probably take a while to get cross country!!!! I'm just going to purchase it there, so i can bring it home, and have the photos all ready to be printed so i can get a start on my scrapbook!!!!!!
