Stupid EMH Question

i feel silly for even asking this, but i need to know, so here goes:

we're staying at a disney resort and want to take advantage of EMH, so what i need to know is: are the orange highlighted times on the park hours charts when the park actually opens, or does the orange highlighting indicate that the park opens an hour earlier than listed on the chart? i suspect, based on the chart, that the latter is correct, but i really need expert confirmation! also, if we wanted to try evening EMH...ugh, i'm confusing myself, nvm, lol. TIA!

The times listed here on the DIS page are the regular park hours for everyone for that day... Orange/green highlight is just to signify that that park has a morning (orange) or evening (green) EMH. The morning EMH will be 1 hour prior to the time listed and the evening EMH will be 3 hours past the time listed on the chart.

Is it a full three hours at every park?...

I believe it's worded "up to three hrs."... Which tells me parks that close early, such as AK, would have three hours... while a park like Epcot that is open later might only have one hour later for EMH's... I'm hoping it's three hours for all the parks, but I find that hard to believe....

Its 3 hours in the evening.

Yes, if MK has a 12 midnight close-time, EMH runs until 3am.

As Robo stated it is 3 hours in every park. I am not sure why they have it worded as "up to 3 hours", but it is always 3 additional hours at every park for the evening EMH as stated even when MK closes at midnight... the EMH is until 3am.
