Stuff for a group of 10-14 year olds to do at campground?

I'm organizing a tent-camping trip for a fairly good-sized group of 10-14yo kids (the majority of whom are boys). I'm trying to think of some fun stuff to give them in a "goodie bag" type thing -- stuff that doesn't require organized, adult-led activities. We have plenty of stuff we're doing during the day, so it's more dusk/evening stuff (beyond the campfire) that I'm considering. And, happily, I know kids come up with plenty of ways to entertain themselves while camping. I just thought a simple goodie bag would be fun for them.

We pretty much have an entire stretch of the campground to ourselves, so I'm fairly sure anything they do won't be disturbing other campers (but to calm the worriers: Yes, there are plenty of parents there to keep watch).

I'm thinking glow in the dark bracelets (I'm sure they'll figure out a way to do more than just wear them) and light-up bouncing balls or those light-up stretchy yo-yo things. I'll probably bring along our ladder ball set and pie irons, too, in case anyone wants to do that.

Any other suggestions?

(And no, Frank, sadly there's no place to fish at this campground.)

How bout water balloon fight,,(clean up the mess after, and keep it to a small area so everyone can get soaked)

How about a scavenger hunt? We did one while camping for a week in Maine. We ended up having almost the entire campground involved, and it was a BLAST!

This is a good one -- we actually have these funky biodegradable water balloons so if some get missed, it's not the end of the world for the environment.

How about a scavenger hunt? We did one while camping for a week in Maine. We ended up having almost the entire campground involved, and it was a BLAST!

Ooh, sounds fun. How'd you do it? Give everyone a list of the same stuff that's naturally in campgrounds? Fun!

I'm just sayin'...

If you can pack that up into a kit,(and yes..they do actually sell fart spray ...don't ask, but trust me they do. I'm sure they'll have a rip..roarin' time..(so to speak)..

There is also good ole frisbees, a football, tossing a baseball or softball, etc.

That's what our scouts usually did after dinner was a pickup game of tag football or threw frisbees.

(We banned electronic items at Scout campouts, so they actually did stuff.)

You could always try Geocaching or Letterboxing. I'm sure there's lots of stuff all around Disney's.

Our scoutmaster taught us how to light a fire with a can of spray paint and a lighter on rainy days!

At our camporee this past weekend the kids set up their own Cracker Barrel to give snacks to the visiting cub scouts and their parents.
