Studios with Fantasmic or EPCOT World Showcase??

Hey all,

Just got back from my awesome trip and since my son got sick and missed a bunch, my mom is taking us back next year!!!!!!!!! (My aunt is giving us her timeshare week again, too!)

So, here is my question. The kids hated the countries/World Showcase at EPCOT so we didn't get to see the countries. We also didn't get to see Fantasmic! because of DS9's illness. Sooooo........ next year should we send the kids to the kids club at one of the resorts and mom and I walk around World Showcase OR should we all go to Studios for Fantasmic!? There really isn't enough time to do both. (Yes, I do have next year ll planned out. How pathetic am I?)

You will probably get a 50/50 split on this one..but for me...Fantasmic is absolutley hands down the best thing at Disney!!!

I'd say Fantasmic.

Now, World Showcase and Fantasmic are probably my two favorite things at Disney (probably in that order), and personally, I'd pick World Showcase. But for you, in your situation, if you want to involve the kids, pick Fantasmic. You'll all be able to enjoy it.

It's too bad though, I'm sure you'd probably have a great time with your mom at World Showcase. Such an incredibly relaxing time.

I've got to agree, Fantasmic is pretty amazing and almost enough just to bring me to the Studios, thankfully Tower of Terror & Rockin Roller Coaster is there too!

This is a hard one for me because my kids enjoy the countries (they like looking for the characters and the kidcots), and they saw Fantasmic for the first time this year and LOVED it! Considering that you said your kids hated the countries, I'd go for Fantasmic It's worth the wait!

We love both parks. Not sure why if you are getting a timeshare for a week why you wouldn't have time to do both parks.
