The construction in the backlot is now being referred to as a 2-3 year "Backlot Revitalization Project" and nobody has any idea what this entails. There are now LARGE amounts of survey markers all across the backlot area and more surveying being done everyday. Most of the markers are in code but some say South Edge of Canal or East edge of canal. These markers are 20-30 feet from where the existing canal is which makes me think they may be moving it. The park VP was showing around some contractors and imagineers the other day. Some of them had plans with them.

What will this mean for the Osborne lights for the next several years????

I say we should have it Epcot style. Think of all the lights and in every country. That would amazing. Or they could do a different section of MGM. No worries though.
