Studios at HHI

Just this last week, I made a reservation (using my new HH points! ) for next July at HH. I forgot to make a request for room location, but I know I want to be on the top floor. I know I can call back and add that request, but this made me wonder--Are all the top-floor studios in Buildings 11, 12, and 13? I know there are some studios in the other buildings, but aren't they under GVs? Any other top-floor studios besides these 3 buildings?

Also, does Building 13 have a marsh view? I can't recall if their balconies face the marsh.

There are 21 studios at HH. 16 of those are in Buildings 11/12 (the Live Oak Lodge) and the other five are located under the GVs. Building 13 is right on the marsh with a great view of Broad Creek, but there are no studios in Building 13 - only 2BR villas.

I think there are 7 studios on the top floor in building 11/12.

I would call MS and add your request for a top floor studio. They will note it on your reservation, but it can't be guaranteed.

I just didn't know whether to request just top-floor or if I needed to request a certain building, too. Since all the top-floor studios are in Buildings 11/12, I'll just request top floor.

BTW, can you tell me how many 2 BRs are on the top floors? Are they all dedicated or lock-offs? I'm already planning for my 2011 trip!

All of the 2BRs are dedicated except for the 16 lock-offs in Building 11/12 and the 5 lock-offs under the GVs. The Buildings with the GVs will have one dedicated 2BR also on the top floor and all other buildings have either 2 or 3 dedicated 2BRs on the top floor. Except for the buildings with a GV all others have either 4 or 6 dedicated 2BRs and all buildings besides 11/12 and the 5 with GVs have 2 stories. (There are no ground floor villas at the resort due to building codes.)
