studio vs deluxe?

How is a studio different than a deluxe room? Do they have more space or microwaves or a cooking area? Thanks

Are you talking about say the BWI/Villa's? If so I have stayed in both and yes the studio's have a kitchen area with a microwave, sink, and toaster I believe. Ours had that area right across from the bathroom sink area. The living area(queen bed,pullout sofa, and we had a rollaway) was the same as a regular room. The deluxe is one big longer room. Picture a regular room with say a sitting area added on. The sitting area has regular sofa, a wicker chair, and an extra T.V/VCR.

The deluxe rooms are concierge so no need for the kitchen area. If you would like to see pix of the deluxe room go to ourlaughingplace.com.

For our family of 5 the Deluxe room is much better.

We stayed in a Studio Room at Boardwalk villas. We really liked the room! It was myself, DH, our son was 18 months at the time, and my mother. With a small child, the refrig and microwave were great! ds fell asleep during dinner at CapeMay cafe. They let us pack up the food left on his plate and take it back with us. When he woke up we just popped it in the microwave. The kitchen area was more of a kitchenette. Had a small refrig, a sink and tiny microwave.

VERY TRUE! We recently stayed in a studio at OKW for less than $100 per night. You can barely stay in a moderate for that price!

Besides the microwave, we like that the 2nd bed in the room is a sofa bed. I don't know how it is to sleep on, but with just the 2 of us it was always used as a sofa & was great for watching t.v., reading, etc. The room seemed a lot more spacious because of it.
