Studio vs. 1BR for family of 4 (Spin off of Studio/Cruise thread)

I own 500 points and still do the studios. Like I said before the laundry is something I never used and so is the kitchen so it is not valuable to me. I have enough for three 1 week vacations in a studio or 1 week in a studio and a cruise. I am saving a ton of money using DVC and getting to travel places that I would not be able to afford otherwise.
