Studio Plus?

A friend of mine said last night they had booked a room for 8 nights at a Studio Plus that was supposed to be close to Disney. Does anyone know this hotel? Is it close and is it a good value at $58 per night? Any insight would be appreciated.

I've stayed at an Extended Stay America (owned by the same company) and they were nice places. Granted, there was no pool, but the room was clean and you got a small kitchen with a microwave.

I am familiar with the Studios Plus on Major Blvd, near Universal, which does have a small pool. They are very nice properties with complete kitchens with plates silverware and utensils. I think they offer exceptional value for the dollar.

Who did your friend book through? Both Studio Plus & Extended Stay offer weekly rates; in fact it's their main advertising point. A week at Studio plus should be in the $289-299 range. Check out their website www.extendedstay.com
