Studio or 1-BR or both-help me decide!?

We can't decide whether to stay 5 days in a 1-BR, split our stay into maybe 3 days-studio, 3 days-1 BR, or a total of 9 days in a studio. We'd like to spend some time in a 1 BR, but really can't afford the weekend points, so we either have to split our time (some time in a 1-BR may be better than none), or stay in the studio so we don't have to move and be able to stay longer. What do you think would be best?

If you are talking about OKW - then a 1-bedroom - there is no comparison - it is really that much bigger. Makes you want to relax and enjoy life - the patio/balcony is great for breakfast or dinner.

Of course if you aren't going to spend alot of time in your room go with the studio - you cares you aren't there anyway. OKW has 2 queen beds so you don't have to fix the sleeper sofa before you collapse.

First stay the weekend in the studio and then stay sunday thru thursday night in the 1 bedroom. After staying in the 1 bedroom you will know what you want the next time you go. I stay in a studio during xmas or easter and a 1 bedroom during the magical time or a 2 bedroom when it's the adventure season. I love getting the 2 bedroom at the same points as i get the 1 bedroom in the summer(270). I have family and friends come down so we could enjoy things together and they love staying at disney resorts for free.

Yes, it's OKW-that's the only place DH will stay, I think! And as you can see from my countdown timer, this year we're in a 2-BR there. So should we stay in a studio for the weekend, then 1-BR for 4 nites? The only way we can afford the points to stay more than 5 nites is to stay in a studio on the weekend. There's just DH and myself, so moving wouldn't be too bad.

I'd either do the studio on the first weekend and then a 1-bedroom or stay in a local hotel on the weekend and then switch to OKW. Lots of us stretch our points that way.
