Studio at BWV and 1-bedroom at SSR...or...Studio at SSR and 1-bedroom at BWV?????

Ok, here's the current plan for June 2007:

Stay for 7 nights in a studio (but where - BWV or SSR?)

Stay for 2 nights in a deluxe inn room w/ ocean view - VBR

Stay for 4 nights in a 1-bedroom (but where - BWV or SSR?)

In a few weeks, I will book both the studio AND the 1-bedroom at SSR as a backup (since it's my home resort, I know I will be able to get the reservation during the 11-month window - I'll see about switching during the 7-month window).

I really would prefer to stay in two different DVC resorts in WDW. We will definately stay in VBR. This will be my first "trip home" - I need a lot of advice.

Looks like the two resorts you'd like to stay at are BWV and SSR. They are about the same size in both studio and 1BR, so that's not part of the decision.

It really just depends on where you want to start off and end your vacation. Personally, I'd probably start at SSR since it's the home resort and your first DVC trip should start some good memories and bonding there. Then I'd wrap up with the 1BR at BWV.

Of course, it may just be a matter of which set of days is available for the BWV part of the stay. So the level of bookings might well make this decision for you!

It really doesn't matter which way you go, but I will say that I agree 100% that you should do the studio first, then the 1BR. I wouldn't like starting a vacation in a 1BR and ending up in a studio...just my opinion.

I totally agree with that sentiment. All of the DVC resorts EXCEPT OKW have the same layout, just the decor differs. It will be a BIG difference though between the studio and the 1 bedroom, and I would probably stay the whole time at your home resort this first trip and get to know it well.
