Did anyone watch this last night? I was so looking forward to this show, and watched about 5 minutes of it. Not because it wasn't good, but because of that amazingly large, annoying NBC logo literally, in the middle of the screen. Did that aggrivate anyone else? I know that all stations feel this stupid urge to put their logo on the bottom right hand corner of the screen - That's bad enough. But this was smack dab in the middle of it. I couldn't believe it!

Well I tried to watch it, but fell asleep. I don't remember any logo on the screen though. From what I saw it was ok, but nothing I'd say home to watch.

Must have been a goof by your NBC station. There was not a logo in the middle of the screen here.

I saw your post and went back to the TIVO to look at it again after watching the show last night and not noticing any logo that demanded my attention. There was a very small logo for NBC.com, and it was tucked in the bottom left corner for the entire broadcast.

Not meaning to contradict, but it definitely was not "smack dab in the middle of it". Mrs. Mugg concurs, for what its worth.

Great show. No one writes on television like Aaron Sorkin.

It will air on Bravo tomorrow night. Probably without the nbc.com logo.

Maybe it was my TV. I have a widescreen television and it was right in the middle. I'll watch it on Bravo tomorrow night. I hate those annoying logos. I know what station I'm watching.

I think mum4jenn had it...goofy local affiliate putting the logo in the middle.

I just had to jump in because I thought it was a very smart show and while everyone here liked it, they felt it wasn't "gripping." I would agree to an extent in that it's not a mystery, but I thought it was pretty darn smart in its own right!

I liked it too. I thought it was fun to see Ed Asner and Felicity Huffman also. The only hard part for me was seeing Matthew Perry play a role other than Chandler from Friends :)

I enjoyed the show very much. (I actually switched off the Yankees' game to watch!) I laughed out loud a couple of times. I expected good writing and that's exactly what we got from Sorkin.

I read somewhere that although this initial episode was praised by the critics, they actually felt that episodes 2 and 3 were even better.

I'm looking forward to next week.

It was ok. I'll probably watch again next week. I had the NBC logo, too. It wasn't exactly in the middle, but it wasn't in the bottom, either. Annoying.
The only thing I didn't care for was every other line, Chandler (he'll always be Chandler!) mentioned that he was on painkillers. It got so old!

Brilliant! Great show. I think NBC's finally got another winner!

I saw the NBC.com bug as well. It was small and unobtrusive, as it is supposed to be.

I found it very interesting. I loved Matthew Perry's character--I couldn't stand him as Chandler, so its nice to see him grown up and matured out of that type of character.

Bradley Whitford-wow! LOVE HIM!

Judd Hirsch should get an Emmy nomination for his role, that was outstanding.

Smart writing, interesting concept and well moving plot. I think next weeks will be better because now there is no set up!
