Diane has serious issues moving people this week. Crowds are very light. Can't imagine how they are going to handle actual crowds.

forced off a monorail after loading. Sent to the resort monorail and then held over the lagoon.

the trams have been a nightmare. You sit and sit and sit. Ugh!!!!!

Diane better up her game. ;) Kidding, I know it is an autocorrect. :)

We were stuck for two hours on the monorail between MK and Epcot on our first trip back in August 1991. It was hot since the AC wasn't working. It isn't fun but unfortunately isn't anything new. They really need to bite the bullet and replace the trains but I'm not sure that is on the road map.

I'm thinking that Walt might second guess his idea of putting the parking lot a mile away from the MK today. Very cool idea, but maybe not the easiest to execute on a daily basis.

It seems the monorail has had a lot more problems lately .

Sure blame it on a guy that was dead for 5 years before it was built.

According to the first post above, it isn't a new problem. Mechanical things break down... there is no actual way to avoid it.

We took the monorail in October and it was amazing! But only because it felt like the first time in YEARS that I had ridden a monorail between the TTC and MK without it needing to stop for some reason--or worse, power down and restart.

The monorail breaks down pretty much on a daily basis.

Well, not running a system 5 years past its life expectancy would probably be a good place to start.
