I've just come back from 3 nights in Holland on business. Stayed at a very nice hotel in Scheveningen on the coats near Den Haag.

I was on the 5th 'Executive' Floor, and once I checked in I headed to the lift. To get to your floor you had to put you room key in a slot for your floor. So I get in the lift, put my room key card in the slot for the 5th floor and turn to watch the floor indicator.

It got to floor 5 and I waited for the doors to open - but nothing happened!
I pushed the 'door open' button a few times, but still the doors didn't open. I was getting a bit worried now and looked round for the panic button. As I looked behind me I noticed another set of doors opened on my floor :rotfl2:

I felt such an idiot!

Aww, Tim, that sounds just like something I would do - panic first, think later!

I thought you were going to tell us that you had to wait for hours to be resuced! I'm glad you were safe - I hope there weren't any CCTV cameras in the lift!
