i don't have too many children, maybe 3.
my concern of living sea is , will that be too dark?
the reason why i am now thinking about living sea, is that i want to have a piano instead of DJ, my EM said i have to pay both a renting fee of piano and the charge of organist. however, i know that there is a piano in living sea, so you only have to pay for the organist.
another reason why i initially chose whitehall is i think it is quite an elegant location and considering the food made by GF convention centre.
any advice would be appreciated
thanks

We had our reception at the Living Seas (we changed from the Whitehall Room). I guess it depends on your personal style. The Living Seas, to me, was less stuffy and formal. I also didn't care for the green and peach colors in the Whitehall room - they didn't go well with my choices for bridesmaid's dresses. If you have in mind a really "bright" reception then the Whitehall room may be more to your taste. I preferred the classic lounge look of the Living Seas. The Living Seas is not "too dark", but the lighting is similar to a nice restaurant in the evening. Our pictures turned out fine and we had floating candle centerpieces that went well with the gorgeous views of the coral reef and the fish. Your coordinator can send you pictures of both locations, and even better (if you are lucky enough) you can visit each site in person if you will be visiting Disney for a planning session prior to the wedding.

We also debated between these locations. Our final decision was based on the fact that while nice, the Whitehall Room is very much like ballrooms at nice resorts anywhere, and Living Seas is a one of a kind place. We decided if we were going to spend the FTW prices we wanted something that was unlike anything we could do anywhere else. I did not find it dark in there. We had a number of disposable cameras, which are not the best with flashes, and 95% of the pictures turned out with their little flashes, by those standards I don't feel it was too dark.

yes, i agree with all that you said.
do you think that living sea will not be "As" formal as WH? i know that living sea has lounge view....
