Open a new window so that you have the Disboards open AND on the new window follow these instructions...
1. Go to www dot photobucket dot com... do whatever it is to join.. it is free.
2. Upload your picture
3. Then under your picture, left click the DIRECT LINK, it will say "copied" in a little yellow box, then I right click and click copy

Now back on your DIS reply page..
Click on the little picture icon ... it is the third from the end along the top of the box that you type in. When the post it window comes up, it says, please enter the URL of your image... in the little box, I erase the http:// that is there... then I right click the mouse and click paste from the list...that will paste your picture information on it and click OK
3. Then click - submit reply or preview post if you want to check it before posting.

I hope this isn't too confusing.

Thanks sandysplayhouse!! Perfect instructions!

So here is the pic of my dd 2 years ago at the age of 9 riding in a disney stroller. My dd has hemiparalysis on one side so she tires easily and we were all surprised she had made it the 1st couple of days without complaint. But by the third day she was fatigued, which of course translates out of children as irritable ;) so we were all very very grateful for the strollers

I'm surprised she was able to fit comfortably in it. But it makes more sense that she was in a stroller now that you mentioned the hemiparalysis. Cute photo.

Now I want to see the photo of the person that said they (an adult) rested in a stroller...haha.

Don't umbrella strollers have curved handles that could be hung on something? The rentals have a straight bar across as a handle, so depending on the height of the umbrella folded, could it just hang off the rental?

We tried the rental one day for my very large 3 yo (size of most 5 yos) and it was snug. Plus we had many other things to carry - jacket, snacks, water, cameras, blanket to sit on, ponchos, etc. It was a tight fit in the bottom basket! I brought my huge peg perego the next day and was very happy for it, even with DS walking a lot.

Hi, I wanted to chime in about the stroller thru the airport, if indeed you are flying. We actually have always taken our stroller with us on trips and let me tell you, it's good to have the stroller for a "Pack Mule". It carries our carry ons and a car seat, whatever you have, you can cram in! We gate check even our big stroller, never a problem, and it's waiting for us when we get off the plane, then it's not considered baggage to check.
I agree with this. In the past year DH and I have debated whether to bring the stroller from home. We always wind up bringing it because:

1. It is SOOO NICE to haul stuff in/out of the airport with it!
2. DS4 never uses a stroller at home anymore, but we don't typically walk as much at home as we do at DL. If we're trying to rush to a show or meal PS, it's nice to pop him in the stroller and dash, rather than having him dawdle or flat out refuse to walk.
3. When DS4 wants to walk (which is more and more) we just park the stroller in a central location (ie. by the carousel in FL) as we tour the area, collecting it before we move on to another area of the park.
4. It's nice to have a guaranteed spot for one of the kids to sit when they get tired, especially when it's busy. And yes, sometimes DS8 would like to be pushed along in it, but I tell him he's too heavy for it. :rotfl:
5. DS4 is about 40 lbs. now, and there is no way I could carry him all the way back to the hotel.

My stroller is a MacLaren (of some sort, I forget) and I think the weight max. is 50 or 55 lbs. I used to let my older boy ride in it when he was near/at that maximum, and he would have been 6yo then. If the younger one wanted to walk and if it spared me having to listen to the older one whining later that evening, I didn't really care what others thought about a school-age child in a stroller.
