How much does it cost to rent a stroller? Can you rent for more than one day or is it just daily rentals? We have a 3 year old that I think we would feel much better if we had her somewhat contained instead of running amuck :yay: Or are there any other suggestions?

:cheer2: 41 days untill WDW :cheer2:
 I'm SOOOOO excited

Hi  and welcome to the DIS!! Hopefully this link will answer everything you need to know about stroller rental http://allearsnet.com/pl/strol_faq.htm. There is A LOT of walking involved in a WDW visit so you will definitely want a stroller. We are bringing a stroller for our 6 year old DD so she won't get quite so worn out. Have a fun trip!!

We did the double stroller and I think it was like 18 dollars a day if I remember correctly and maybe 12 for the single. If you pay for all the days up front then you get a discount. You then keep your reciept and tag and if you park hop you just show them the reciept and you pick up the stroller. We could not have done with out it. My kids would have never made it. Well worth the price and you dont have to fight a stroller on the buses if you stay on site.

We paid $18/day for the double stroller and it was a life saver. I never would have though my 6 year old would sit in a stroller but she did. It's a LOT of walking, even for the adults.

You will definitely want to get a double stroller. We freeze capri suns and take them in the park in a backpack. We use the other side of the stroller for storage for our stuff. :hippie:

If you are going to be there for a week...I would buy a umbrella stroller. ToysRUs used to give them a way free with a large purchase, or hit up some garage sales, thrift stores etc. Check it at the gate if you are flying. And when you are done with it, pass it on to another guest at the parks or throw it away(if you feel you don't need it for the flight home). I had an umbrella stroller with a small basket and a cover for the sun. IMO it is way easier to still have use of that stroller at the hotels, and walking the kids to the parking lot or bus instead of carrying little one, because you had to return your disney stroller. There are pass it on stroller threads out there...but you can not 100% gaurentee that you will get that stroller.http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t...r_ba/002-8804871-0315264?v=glance&s=baby&st=* It will pay for its self in 2 days!

We recently got back and rented a coupl of the double strollers. They were great! As someone previously said, it is good to also hold the stuff you accumulate suring the day. My dd5 who has not been in a stroller for 2 years used it, as well as my cousin's 8 year old son. My sister purchased a $10 umbrella stroller for her dd4 from Target before we left and used that in the airport and also from the buses to the parks. We then folded it up and used the cut up peices of t-shirt we brought to distinguish our stroller to tie it to the double stroller. Have a great trip!

Hi I also had the delema of renting or bringing a stroller, I have a small 5 year old girl and 2 1/2 year girl. I ws shocked to find out that for a weeks stay the price will be over 120.00 yikes! I have a double stroller and instead of lugging it around during our trip I shipped it, it only cost 19.00 to ship a double :yay: umbrella stroller that reclines, so I sent it on ahead via UPS, great rate and we will have when we get to Disney. If you opt to do this make sure you send it with adaquite time to arrive. :dancer:

21 days until we arrive at POP!

That's a great idea. I just bought a used Combi Stroller on E-Bay for $20 and it's wonderful. It's so light that we can fold it up and carry it on the busses and ferry and monrails, etc. It has a carrying strap as well. It has an umbrella cover, basket on the bottom and pouches near the handle for drinks, and other odds and ends you usually have with you. I thought it would be better than renting a stroller in the parks, only because my daughter gets to feel like dead weight after a few minutes of holding her. I think that with walking around the resort, to and from the pool, food courts, etc, it was a good idea to take one with us. I've heard we can gate check it at the airport and it will be waiting for us once we get off the plane.

We always rent our kids were 5&6 last time and it is still a lot of walking for them. You can just get across the park faster. I alsays rent because I don't want to lug a stroller around.

how much dose the price of a double cost per day if i do the length of stay. example I need a double for 6 days =? :cheer2:

18 dollars a day is the discount rate, so 18 X 6= 108 plus taxes. I don't believe they charage a deposit if it is a rental for several days.
