stroller rental question

I've read that they can run out of strollers quickly but do they also run out quickly in the off season? And how fast do they run out? Has anyone rented one later in the day or in the evening when maybe some people have already returned theirs? I'm normally the type of person who has to get to any theme park right as it opens but since we are local and will have APs we might be going at all different times and I want to know what to expect with being able to rent a stroller or not so I will know if I should bring our own.

We really only go in the off-season and have never had an issue with the stroller rentals running out. The one time we went at the height of the summer season there also was no problem with them running out.

I agree with the previous poster.......we have never had a problem getting a stroller mid-day or evening during the off-season. If by some chance DL is out, you could get one from DCA (provided its before they close in the evening). They also have some strollers at Star Traders in Tomorrowland, and somewhere else in the back of DCA.

If you rent a stroller at DCA can you take the stroller into Disneyland?

Yes, you can take it between the parks, through the Esplanade. You can't take it beyond the security tables, is all. So, not into DTD.

If you rent a stroller in the morning and you take a break midday, many many people doing the same thing leave them by the security tables before heading to their hotels for their midday breaks. When you come back from your break, just grab an abandoned one. No need to go to the stroller rental and show your receipt to get a new one. You will frequently find a raft of abandoned strollers next to security tables on both sides of the Esplanade, and also near the entrance to GCH in CA. Save your nametag from your morning rental and put it into the stroller's plastic nametag window. Voila, it's yours.

Remember to bring a brightly- colored ribbon or bandanna to tie on your rental stroller. It makes it much easier to pick yours out in a sea of strollers, parked outside a ride.
