Our kids are getting a bit older (7 and 4.5 on this trip) and we never use a stroller anymore but I am worried about going to Disney without one. We were thinking that if the kids get tired later in the day we could just rent one then but I am wondering if we wait til the end of the day if we will have trouble getting a stroller. We are going in July so it will be very busy. So I have the following questions:
Do they ever run out of strollers?
Could we rent one early in the day and then just park it some where out of the way so we could come back and get it when we need it or will it disappear?
Finally do they have double strollers? The Disneyland website doesn't mention them. Our 7 yr old only weighs 40 lbs so she should fit just fine.

Thanks for the help.

I must confess my bias, I am pretty anti-stroller. I think a much better plan with kids your age is to have a plan, pace yourself with breaks and time for snacks and pool.

We didn't bring one and bought one of the $9 strollers from Wal-Mart, it was easy to fold up and didn't take much space and was a godsend when Tyler became tired later on, actually it was a good place to put all our bags too!

A $9 stroller!!?
Does this come with a canopy and/or a basket?
We're dragging ours on the plane and if Wal-mart has a $9 one with a top and basket, we can leave ours at home.

I've been checking into strollers also. And Walmart has another umbrella stroller that actually reclines- 2 positions, has a canopy and a basket for $35. It is also Disney print and folds small like a reg. umb. stroller. It has the air wheels that will last longer than the regular umbrella strollers. Bewear of the reg. umbrella strollers with older kids. When we took our 3, 5 and 7 year olds. We took 2 strollers and one of the wheels broke off of the cheaper umbrella stroller  ; and they are harder to push with older kids: so my advice is to check the wheels! ::MinnieMo
