DD 16 mo, DW, DMIL, DM, Stepfather and wife's Aunt are all going to WDW together for the holiday season the first week in December. We will be there the 3rd to the 11th, and are planning 5 full days in the parks and 3 days relaxing by the pool, checking out the boardwalk, going fishing, getting spa treatments, etc. We will have a mini-van for the whole length of stay, and are staying in a 2 BR vacation home, our first use of DVC points purchased in 2003. :cool1:

So here's my dilemma, I can rent one of Disney's HUGE strolers and pay $50 total for my 5 days in the parks...leaving us with nothing to use for the remaining 3 days. OR, since we have a car, we could hit Walmart or something and buy a stroller on the way from the airport and then donate it to the Salvation Army or another worthy charity on our last day.

DW and I went to Walmart tonight and you can buy quite a stroller for $50, and an even nicer one for just a bit more. So what does everyone think I should do? Right now I am leaning towards buying a stroller, but I am not sure, and could use all your advice! :confused3

For such small children, I think they would be more comfortable in a cushy. lean back style, than the ones at Disney! :bounce:

Like the previous poster said, fro kids so little I would definitely buy a stroller. I'm not sure how you would even put a 4mo in one of their strollers, except for MGM. Plus what would you do for the other days? carrying two kids all day can get tiring.

Oh wait, I think I misunderstood. Do you have 1 daughter who is 16mos, or a 1yo and a 4mo?

Do you not have a stroller you can bring?

I bought this stroller before our last trip, it's a great travel stroller

For such young kids I would bring my own stroller. The rental strollers are not designed for little ones at all!

I would want to purchase a nice umbrella stroller before the trip and bring it home with me. I found the stroller to be really helpful in the airport particularly. Plus you can use it up until you board and have the airline gate check it for you. That way it's ready as soon as you get off the plane too. Having DS unrestrained in the airport as we gathered up our luggage and found our town car would have been a disaster!
