I just purchased the Chicco C5 for our Disney trip. Could someone please recommend a stroller bag/organizer and cup holder. Also any other tips for things we may need at a park with a 2yr. old. Our older children were at least 4 when they first went to Disney. Thanks

Hi
I'm not sure if this will be any help or not because I haven't gone to disney with any kids yet! We are taking DS for the first time in 5wks. I plan to buy one a saddle bag for the stroller(I'm bringing our Zooper Twist). Skip hop makes one but I plan to go with the Carry You version because I've heard that it's made of a more flexible material than skip hop thus making it easier to fold umbrella strollers. Here's a link to the one I'm getting, carry you makes a bunch of stroller accessories. Definitely check out their stuff.

Hope this helps and good luck:)

Have you checked your stroller manufacturer? I know that Maclaren makes an accessory pack (organizer and cup holder) that you can purchase separately. If your stroller manufacturer doesn't make one, maybe the Mac accessory pack will work.

I usually use my Skip Hop Duo diaper bag hooked onto my stroller bars. It has 2 pockets on the front of the bag that I can slip drinks & water bottles down into. It also has zippers on the top of the bag so there's easy access. The only negative is that it can tip the stroller over when the child is not sitting in it. It has clips built into the bag that loop around the stroller handles but you have to remove the shoulder strap to do this. It is not hard to do but it can be a PITA to have to re-hook the shoulder strap back on before you can carry it again. It's the best system I have found, though.

Just wanted to remind you to make sure that the diaper bag you use is either waterproof or adequately covered. I've heard a lot of people mention that they like to bring two bags ... A large one that holds the majority of stuff that you can keep on/in the stroller when you ride the rides & a small bag to hold all the essential/irreplacable items.
Again, I can't speak from personal experience. This is just what I've "heard" from other moms, it worked for many of them. I personally am not taking their advice. I plan to wear a medium sized backpack(vera bradley large backpack) that should hold all my essentials plus a few of DS neccessities. I'll also have a small cooler bag to hold DS water/snacks. Plus, I'll use the saddle bag for everything else. This way I won't need to carry a huge bag and will have hands free to tend to DS. Not to mention that when it rains I won't have to worry about keeping a bag dry, it'll be on my back(the cooler will be in stroller basket & the saddle bag is supposed to be water-resistant). Hopefully everything works out as I plan, you never know:confused:

Our stroller doesn't have any type of parent console or storage either. (other than the basket underneath the stroller) I was going to buy a stroller organizer but was also trying to think of what else might work. I ended up using a medium sized diaper bag that I got free at the hospital on the handle of the stroller....I could tighten up the bags strap tight enough that it hangs snug to the handle of the stroller...I cut off the bags small carry handles and it works great! The bag has two mesh thingies on each side for drinks. Then, I used two of our nice bike bags on each side of the bar that the underneath basket of the stroller hangs on. We ended up with sooo much storage room and the real bonus for me was I didn't have to spend money on something I wouldn't need again, and everything is waterproof. I plan to purchase a rain cover for the stroller anyway and figure we would cover the stroller if we need to leave it parked and there is any risk of it getting rained on.

Good Luck!

I have the Demi Milan from Carry You, and I love it! I have it on my Pliko, which is also an umbrella style stroller.

We couldn't use it at WDW because we used a backpack diaper bag and hung it on the back of the umbrella-type stroller. The backpack diaper bag was packed with snacks, diapers, wipes, hand gel, sippy cup, autograph book, extra clothes, retractable Sharpie for autographs, etc.

I carried an Overland Equipment Placer with valuables (cell phone, camera, money, tickets, lip gloss, etc.) It is a smaller bag, and I kept it on at all times (on rides, at restaurants).

To get on the bus, you have to unload your stroller and fold it, so it is easier if everything is in one place (in one bag).

I have a Maclaren Universal Organizer which works well in addition to the small basket on our Mac Quest stroller. It velcros to the handles of any stroller, has two neoprene cup holders, a small pocket, and a velcro closure mesh pocket that expands a bit.

Does the Maclaren organizer fold easily with the stroller? Thanks for all the replies.

RE the Mac organizer-yes my stroller folds fine with it. Its pretty thin and Ive even folded the stroller with some things in the organizer (ie diapers, papers).
