Wondering if anyone will have the answer to this:
We're doing the QSDP, but have a breakfast ADR for Askerhaus. I'm assuming there will be highchairs for DS (will be 2), but we'll also have a 3 month old baby with us, and am wondering if they'll allow the stroller to be brought into the restaurant?
Since my older 2 girls both have special needs and will be over the moon excited, We'll going to need all hands free at times to deal with them and we'll need a safe place to put the baby. I never have gotten the hang of eating while the baby's in a sling. Maybe I should bring in the infant carseat, then have DH run it back out to the van after breakfast?

They will not allow you to bring the stroller into the restaurant. Actually, some of the areas of that restaurant are so crowded that you would not be able to fit the stroller near the table and still leave room for the princesses to walk through, take pictures etc. We got one of the really crowded tables last time, and we were constantly getting bumped into by people going to the buffet area, wait staff, etc.

I would definitely bring in the infant carseat. It might seem like a pain to run it back and forth, but if it makes for a smoother dining experience then it's well worth it. Do you have the kind of infant carseat that clicks into your stroller? Could you just remove it from the stroller outside Askerhus and then click it back in when you are done? Then nobody has to run anywhere and if baby falls asleep you won't need to disturb him/her.

Thanks for the replies! I kind of figured the stroller wouldn't be able to come with us. The infant seat does attach to the stroller (well, depending which one we bring!), so that's not a problem, I just figured it would be warm for the baby to stay in the carseat for an extended amount of time, I'd rather she be stretched out in the stroller. Looks like we'll bring the carseat for that one day and maybe run it back to the car.

Thanks again!

I would bring a sling/baby carrier/Bjorn with you. Personally, I worn my daughter for the first year of her life so it was natural for us. I carried her around all of the parks in her EllaRoo at age 3 months and age 9 months. Honestly, depending on your table seating, I would not want my child that close to the ground while I ate.

As for strollers, they will not let you bring them in. Lastly, you could consider a hook on high chair such as the ones from Chicco. They hook directly onto a table. Our daughter started using hers around 2.5 months and we would roll a receiving blanket around her back to make it a snugger fit.

Good luck!
