hello everyone could someone give me advice on stroller cup holders for a twin umbrella type folding stroller, they have handles like a umbrella stroller.i went on line but i am not sure which one will work.any advice will be appreciated thanks
We have two of these - they are great! Only caveat is you can put it on the stroller 2 ways - one way lets the cupholder pivot and the other way doesn't. Use the way that doesn't!! You'll know it's the right one because the little piece that snaps in is either a hexagon or octagon shaped (can't remember which off the top of my head), whereas the pivotable (is that even a word? LOL) one has a kind of rounded bottom.
We learned our lesson the hard way - including a spilled drink all over the floor of a gift shop in Sea World
this might be a duplicate,i got a error message on first one, thanks for your replies, did you all by the click and go system.annette thanks for the tip about swivel,do they both come in click and go kit? have any of you tried the insulated one.and are they both expandable.thanks again
I have a couple of different types. We have the Prince Lionheart on the sit-n-stand. There is no solid bottom and doesn't hold any type of drink. The insulating piece is seperate and very flimsy--doesn't do a good job. Plus it won't fit the handles on my jogger, reason for having the second type. The hook to the stroller requires using a screw driver to put them on; they can get in the way when folding the stroller if you don't do it just right.
The other kind I got at Babies R Us for $6.50 or so. It's the Stroll'r Hold'r II. These are white with a choice of color lines (ours are green). The insulator is built in and does a good job. They also have held every type of drink I've put in it and fit the thicker handles of the jogger or a much thinner handle. This is the one I recommend. Plus, no assembly required.
I've also used a hip pack made for adults as a stroller cup holder. (The kind with the pack in the center and two bottle holders on it.) I just strapped it between the handles and slid it down until it was resting on the back framework. The nice thing is that you can take it off the stroller and put it on as it was intended, to use as a hand's free mini-diaper bag and bottle holder.
