Hi,

We're really close to making final plans and booking flights but the strikes are making me nervous. The trip is for Dec 31 and we would be in DLP 2&3 of January. We're from the US and don't know how to judge the strikes. How long can they last? Is it okay to book flights now or better to wait it out longer?

Any advice is appreciated.

You should be fine, the strikes are affecting some things in France, but they're not THAT bad for travelling really, most traisn are just disrupted rather than not running etc. Plus i think all long haul flights are running as normal.

I would - we are going the 27st Dec - 2nd Jan and it hasn't even crossed my mind that our trip would be cancelled, My best friend is French and she predicts it will have all blown over by this time next month :) If you are flying I'd book a shuttle (loads of ppl here recommend ezyshuttle) and try to work around relying on the trains and you'll be fine :)
