Just realized that I posted this under Disney Restaurants so decided to repost it in the right place.

We were just at WDW in August and booked a surprise trip for DD13 to see the decorations after seeing a coworker's photos from her Thanksgiving trip. Struggling with figuring out how to fit in the major decorations with park visits and expected crowds. We arrive mid day on 1/1.

Friday, 1/1. Arrive mid -day. Epcot

Have TT fast pass for 4:30 and DD13 wants to go through Japan pavilion.

Evening open. No dinner ADR. Heard the Swan has beautiful decorations. Staying at Dolphin. Perhaps, just go to Swan and call it an early night since EMH at MK on the 2nd. OR, head over the DHS studios instead of waiting until our last night to see Osbourne Lights.

( Updated: Made 8:10pm Whispering Canyon Café ADR in case we should head to the Wilderness Lodge after Epcot to see those decorations.)

Saturday, 1/2.

7am - rope drop. DH really doesn't want to do this since we'll have a long day. Still on the fence since we will have the morning of 1/4 at MK. We do want to do Jingle Cruise but don't have a FP because of nighttime parade. If we don't get to park for 7am, maybe we head over to do Jingle Cruise first and save some of the other rides for Monday morning.

10:30 Splash Mtn FP
12:05 BOG lunch (but does it make sense to head over to Grand Floridian to see those decorations. Have left the afternoon open to see resorts. Also have early 5pm dinner ADR. Also, read that Wilderness campgrounds have cool decorations. Never been there. Ate lunch here on last trip so it's not a must this time.)

5:00pm Wave ADR at Contemporary (check out gingerbread house here)
6:30pm Pirates & Pals Fireworks Cruise
9:00 - 9:20 FP for Electrical Parade (will need to walk from Contemporary - is there time after the cruise? One rep told me I'll be done by 8:30 and other said 9:00)
10:25 7DMT FP (only one I could get- have kept checking)

Sunday 1/3 Hollywood Studios

Morning reserved to check out decorations somewhere. Don't want to be out the door by 7am since we'll be out late on Saturday and would have started very early that day. Haven't figured out lunch since don't know where we'll be!

1:30 possibly check out Comedy Warehouse Show
2:35 FP Frozen Sing A Long Celebration
3:30 - 3:45 FP Lights, Motor, Action

Hang out in area where Osbourne Lights are after LMA. Afraid it's going to be too crowded if we wait until later in the evening. Is there preferred spot to wait?

6:30 ADR Minnie's Holiday Dine with Fantasmic
8:30 Fantasmic (DD13 and DH have never seen but do we head over to Osbourne Lights. I'm really nervous about the crowds)

9:00 - 10:00 pm FP for Toy Story Mania

Monday, 1/4 MK

8:00 ADR at Crystal Palace

9:10 FP Meet Cinderella
10:15 FP Peter Pan
11:25 FP Buzz

Hoping those FPs won't be needed because of our 8am ADR. Hoping to run over to 7DMT right after breadkfast. Need to leave no later than noon for our 2:30 flight home.

We will have a car if that helps with the resort hopping. I was thinking that we'd park at the Contemporary for our Saturday 5pm dinner and fireworks cruise and walk back over to MK from there. Heard parking at HS will be a nightmare and since we're at the Dolphin, we can walk there.

Any recommendations on fitting in decorations will be most helpful.
