On our first day at WDW, we intend to be up bright and early to see the animals and attractions at AK (our UK body-clocks will help us have an early start :Pinkbounc ). We would also like to have breakfast at Tusker House Restaurant as it has had such good reviews. The scheduled opening for AK that day is 9:00; not sure when Tusker House opens - some websites say 7:30 others say 9:30.

I'm having trouble planning my strategy around:
- What rides/attractions to do first
- What fastpass(es) to get first
- When to have breakfast

Can someone please help me come up with a strategy for our first few hours at AK?
:thanks:

El Tel, almost everyone literally runs to Expedition Everest first. The last time we were there, we made our way there through Dinoland and past the old Theatre in the Wild - it was funny because, in the distance, we could see hordes of people coming around the other direction (through Asia). The lines for FastPass distribution were as long as the standby line to get on the attraction, so we hopped on and got a FastPass after we rode once. We then went over to Kali (almost no one there because everyone else was still fighting for EE) and waited 10 minutes for it to open - we then rode 4x in a row. Next we headed back to Dinoland and rode Dinosaur and Primeval Whirl. By now our EE FastPass time had arrived. After riding, we were getting hungry, so we headed to Africa. I scored FastPasses for K-safari, and while we waited for our window, we went next door and ate at Tusker House. Our time was up by the time we finished lunch, so we jumped right on the ride. The rest of the afternoon we hit the shows - Festival of the Lion King and Flights of Wonder. We then walked the trails a bit and by then it was parade time. We scored a great spot near Pizzafari. We finished our day by watching It's Tough to be a Bug.

The day always seems to go by so quickly when we tour AK. Be sure to hit the trails (especially if you love animals) and see the shows.
