Strategies for booking club level AKL 2BR at 11 months...

This will be our first attempt in trying this.

Our home resort is AKL--

I was wondering any strategies we could employ to get a 2BR at club level for our 2016 vacation.

Also--if our trip is a week, how do I get the entire week at 11 months? Is the window based on the check in date?

We usually have a more flexible window, so I haven't really booked at the 11 month window in a few years. This time we plan to stay at our home resort and wanted to try our luck at CL

ETA: Travel would be during Dream Season.

I would book online and not stay more than 3 nights at CL.

CL is a nice place to visit, experience the food offerings and feeling important when you take the elevator to the restricted 6th floor but the views from the rooms aren't that great and who really needs daily room cleaning.

I would take the 3 nights at CL that you can get and the other nights in a savanna view.

Good to know.

I think we will just save the points and stick with Savannah view. I hadn't realized that concierge included daily housekeeping.

Then we can stay a little longer.

We will save concierge for another time.

It can also be a little difficult to get a 2BR since it requires both a studio and a 1BR to be available when you want to book (they are all lock-offs and there are only a max of 5 2BR's. Once either a studio or 1BR is booked on it's own that number of 5 decreases).
