Strange question 1 of many to come

499 days out is finally here. Heard from Dreams rep that she has a reservation. This reservation I have is set up with Dreams Unlimited correct? If you use them does that mean you won't have a Disney reservation number to put in My Disney Experience account correct? So you can't set up dinner reservations and fast passes? This magic band is all new to us and confusing as can be. Thanks for your help.
