Strange HRH check-in question

Hi -

I booked a package for my husband and 2 kids at HRH. I didn't include myself because I won the free ticket during the superbowl. When I called Universal to add myself without a ticket, they said they put me in some "mirror" system and that I was on the hotel reservation, so I'd get a room key for FOTL. Does this sound right? If this "mirror" system doesn't work, do you think I'll have a problem at check-in getting a key. Thoughts?

Sounds right to me. I don't see any reason why there'd be a problem with you receiving a room key for FOTL. The last time I stayed at HRH, I had booked one room for 3 adults. When we checked in they only had us down for 2 adults. I told them there'd be a 3rd, they asked her name, printed a room key for her and told me about the additional charge for a 3rd adult (which I already knew about). It was no biggie and added maybe 30 seconds to the check-in process.

that sounds right.


the package you have for the rest of the family includes park tickets.
since you don't need that, you can be added to the reservation when you check in.

it is that simple.

everyone in the room will get a hotel card key with their names on it.
as long as you only have 5 in the room, you are fine.

i've stayed at hrh over 20 times.
what they told you is not a problem
