Well.. I would never call myself that, but I think there's a few things there that I relate to.

The term straight edge originates in a song by Minor Threat. The ideaology/lifestyle is to avoid drugs, alcohol, promiscuosity, and anything else that will alter the mind, blur perception, or "poison" the body.

Well, I never did hard core drugs, but I did drink alochol and smoke socially at parties when I was 14 up to before I got pregnant. So I guess the promiscuity thing for me is out the window already. But as I said before I am totally changed and those things are in the past for me. So I guess you could call me a Straight Edge Convert.

um, I'm not completely straight edge. But I still think I'm a good kid. I mean I don't do drugs or smoke, I don't drink that much, if I do drink I have my moms permission. and I have never gotten hard core drunk before. But I'm not gunna lie I have hooked up with a few guys and some of them I didn't know too well.

I don't do drugs. I've had some wine and things like that, just sips here and there for special occasions, but thats it. But I just can't consider myself a straight edge.

I don't really get that label either to be honest.
It seems to apply mostly to "emo"/"hardcore"/"scene" kids.
So if you're not any of the above but you still dont drink/do drug/abstain from sex...what are ya?


It's just another label to me personally.
