I noticed some changes under the kids options:

Mushroom Bisque
Crispy Mushroom

Hunter's Terrine
Chicken, Black Truffle, Stone Fruit Preserve, House-made Pickles

Miner's Treasures
Sponge Cake, Chocolate Gems, Berry Panna Cotta

However, they're not listed under the adults options. Any thoughts? We're still on the fence about this ADR...

Well, the mushroom bisque is the only one not on the adult menu. The menu shows the kids appetizers are shared, as the adult ones are. It does not specify the same for the kids desserts, but it also does not specify choose one like it does for the kids entrees. The kids hunter's terrine is the same as the adult hunter's pie. Miner's treasures is on both adult & kids menu. I wish mushroom bisque was on adult menu, although "crispy mushroom" sounds odd. I don't know if you were asking a question, or if I answered it. Hope that clears something up though. It is expensive, as all the character dining is now IMO. But it looks quite lovely, and less hectic than many. And it is served tableside, rather than you go up to a buffet, which many people prefer.


Edit to add: I see you are mom of 4 boys. I don't know their ages, but there has been some review that the Evil Queen is in character and scary. Some people wanted her to turn nice and cuddly, and were angry their children were scared.
Also saw you are going to AKL, my favorite resort, in May, the best weather month. Have a great trip.

Thank you! The description is different for the Miner's Treasures dessert... under the childrens menu it lists the panna cotta and the adults menu has buttercream icing. I was wondering if this was a menu update due to many reviews saying that the buttercream icing was way too sweet. Also, for the Hunter's Terrine vs. Hunter's Pie I'm not sure if this is the same. The Terrine lists house-made pickles. Maybe they are making some slight changes to the menu and for some reason they are only showing up under the kids options? We are very much looking forward to our stay at AKL!!

We went last week. My son, a disney adult, ordered off the children's menu (we paid the adult price). We were able to get the kids appetizer and he got a bowl of noodles. They brought us two of each of the desserts. The queen was not scary at all, less so than Kylo Ren. When I asked if I could get in the picture she said "that might be tolerated". She was standoffish scary queen but not really scary.
