Storybook Dining - Dress Code?

Back in the old days of Artist's Point, they said the dress code was dressy casual with men in collared shirts, nice shorts, etc. Is that still the same now that it's become character dining for dinner?

We have an ADR for Storybook Dining on one of our MK days (starting at rope drop) and then ride the boat over to WL for dinner. We won't look like slobs, but we'll be wearing t-shirts and shorts since it will be late June. Do I need to rethink this?

Storybook Dining is no longer a Signature restaurant so no longer a need to wear a polo shirt and neat shorts.
I'm sure a t shirt and shorts will be fine:).

Yes, the atmosphere there now is much more like an actual park than a deluxe resort, at least between roughly 4:45-9:15 p.m.

We did a peek a boo of the interior on our way to Geyser Point last December (so relaxing we did it twice); looked very Disney fairy tale ish-ish but I still regret missing our ADR there July 3rd, 2018, when it was still Artist Point. Had a family emergency so stayed in NYC an extra day but sent the rest of our party on to Orlando.

Yeah, we will always miss the prior incarnation of AP--it was one of our primary emotional attachments to the Lodge. So many wonderful memories there. . .and now that's all we have.
