Stormtroopers Stole My Christmas--*UPDATED 07/02/17!*--Pg. 10

Again, thank you SO kindly Brittney, I realize you are busy too! Yes, moving is such a pain, grrrrrr. Your TR's were a highlight of my day on Friday, the calm before the moving storm, ha ha. You have a great day too, I appreciate all your time!!!!!

I love Expedition Everest too! When we were there in March we rode it like six times in a row at night. It's so much better at night. It wasn't a night that Rivers of Light was going on and that part of the park was empty. We just kept getting off and going back through the line with no wait at all.

Were you able to get your hotel changed for your next trip?

Oh wow, six times in a row!! I would be in Heaven! I am definitely going to make it at night this trip, I keep hearing its awesome at night!
OMG no!! They sold out of Free Dining rooms for the hotel we were after. So, now I'm bummed. Oh well. At least I'm still going to Disney!

After EE, I wanted a snack so I used a snack credit to get a no sugar added strawberry bar! It was a perfect snack!

Right after I ordered my ice cream, dad and I saw a Flights of Wonder show happening so we jumped in line.
I realized I had to hurriedly eat my strawberry bar before entering the show, so I ended up with brain freeze. We found a nice spot to sit, and the show began shortly after.

The eagle was NOT a happy camper! He kept trying to fly away from the handler, so much so they had to quickly exit the stage!

In the middle of the show the African crow made a quick exit in the middle of the crowd. They tried to lure him back to the stage with treats, but he was more interested in the popcorn someone had spilt. It was too funny! Finally they got him back, and resumed the show.

Overall I love the Flights of Wonder show! It's amazing to me how they have trained these remarkable birds to do various tasks, and tricks. Dad and I exited the FoW pavilion and decided to go to Rafiki's Planet Watch.

We made a pit stop in Harambe to use the restroom, and I noticed their Christmas decorations were unique. I love all of the subtle Christmas decorations throughout the various parks.

Once we walked up to the train boarding area for Rafiki’s Planet Watch, the train was full and we were left in the corral of people for the next one.

After a short wait, we were there!

Flashback story… years ago after RPW had first opened, back when it was called Conservation Station, my family and I were on our way back to the train when it was POURING down rain.

In an attempt to get our ponchos on, we stood under the overhand out of the way of the doors for a second. Meanwhile this cranky CM comes up and starts yelling at us to move, exclaiming she had been hit by doors before and that doors are dangerous. Buttttt…. We weren’t even near the doors? Anyways, it has become a running joke to go back to RPW to see how that CM is doing… lol. She’s probably since retired or moved on, but who knows maybe one day we will run into her.

Inside of RPW, this little guy was hiding…

UGH I hate snakes…

32376097473_441478bbdc_z.jpg

This guy looked pretty grumpy. His eyes were glued on me. I’m telling you, reptiles and me do not get along…

Keep trying. Things are shifting in and out of inventory all of the time I hear!

Ugh, I was so frustrated with Disney that day! lol. I had my mom ready and waiting with the credit card, and that's impossible at times! lol. I'll keep trying, and maybe i'll get lucky! Thanks for reading!!!

Once out of RPW, we stumbled upon this AWESOME show with parrots. They had them fly out over the crowd. It was AMAZING to watch!

32376097463_c938ae7c4b_z.jpg

After the show, which was very short, we walked into Dinoland for our fastpasses to save the elusive Iguanodon! Poor thing, always needs saving.

32376095733_cbf9f95b01_z.jpg

After our indoctrination film, oh wait that’s the Living Seas old video…, we moved on to boarding! I showed dad the ketchup/mustard/mayo pipes, which I always get a kick out of. (I’m such a nerd).

After Dinosaur, dad and I decided to go back to CBR to meet up with mom for lunch. The bus took FOREVER to arrive, and while waiting we saw 6 Swan and Dolphin buses come and go with NO PASSENGERS! The line for CBR was getting pretty long, and people were starting to get veryyyy grumpy. It was pretty ridiculous, I must say.

Once on the bus, mom texted me this picture of a spider she saw on the way to our room…

32346270874_0ef70ab781_z.jpg

THANK GOODNESS I wasn’t there! I would have died! I’m such a princess, I refuse to kill spiders on my own.

We haven't been out to Rafiki's Planet Watch since probably 2010 or 2011! I don't think my youngest even remembers it, so I want to get them out there in August.

I'm with you on the spiders :scared1: I'm twice your age and I do not kill them, nor will I sleep with one in my bedroom! And forget it if DH drops one out of the tissue he's trying to get it with, he needs to find that sucker and dispose of him before I can relax lol!

I've never been to Rafiki's planet. I'm not sure what it is but I have a hard time navigating around AK. I know we must miss a lot. Hopefully we do better this November.

I'm fine killing small spiders but big ones freak me out. Like I'm afraid they might jump at me. We have those sprickets (cricket-spiders) in the basement & it took me like a year not to freak out when I saw one. I wouldn't go in my basement at night because that's when they would usually come out. Ewww

RPW is nothing special, but we go every trip! lol. I'm so glad I'm not the only one with spider issues!!!!!

RPW has a petting zoo, a sound room with sounds of the rainforest, some small animals for viewing, a train ride where you see some backstage animal housing, and an animal clinic where they do small procedures on the sick animals. It's nice when you've run out of things to do, or want to take a break from all of the crowds!

OMG that's what kind of spider that is in the picture?! GROSS I would like never go in the basement if they were in there!!! Good grief!

We made it back to CBR and got off of the bus at Ole Port Royale to grab some lunch.

33191479635_70bbb1887a_z.jpg

I ordered a chili dog, which was perfect after a long morning of AK. We met up with my mom and aunt, and had a nice lunch. OPR was surprisingly empty at this time, so we had a quiet section to chat and catch up with my aunt.

After lunch, we went back to the room to freshen up to go to Disney Springs.

33191479055_0109d09c49_z.jpg

Disney Springs was pretty packed, not apparent in this image, but trust me!

I love the way Disney Springs looks now! The only negative was there weren’t many stores that peeked our interest. Most of the stores present were ones we have at home, so I was definitely missing the Disney part of Disney Springs. But, it is beautiful!

After walking around, we made our stop at Basin for me to get some bath bombs! I only have one left, and it makes me super sad…

33191477065_1919ca96a8_z.jpg

After Basin, we went to the Christmas Shoppe to look for our yearly ornament… Dad and I loved these little beauties, but mom wasn’t into it.

32346268254_0f001a5379_z.jpg

We left the Christmas Shoppe with no new ornament, and walked through Art of Disney and then finally the World of Disney (which was chaotic).

33191476035_aa900fb45d_z.jpg

Then we passed the Lego Store… which these Lego sculptures are amazing btw!

Once we were done shopping, we found ourselves at the Coca-Cola store.

32808772030_13ab8a5312_z.jpg

We shopped the various levels of the store, and discovered the awesome roof top bar! It had an amazing view of Disney Springs!

I ordered a Diet Coke Lime, which was just diet coke/mint/and lime. It was very refreshing!

33149398476_444b8c58c6_z.jpg

Once we exited the Coca-Cola store, the drone show was happening so we stopped and watched! While it was short, it was very impressive!!!

32808770450_7329996fac_z.jpg

After the drone show we went back to CBR to eat dinner at OPR.

32376081733_e77a1cfee4_z.jpg

I ended up ordering the Roast Beef Strip Loin with peas and mashed potatoes. It was the BEST quick service meal (other than Flame Tree BBQ) we had all trip!

After dinner mom and I walked around the shop in OPR, and went back to the room to go to sleep!

No. The jumping ones in my basement aren't the same as that one, sorry I got off topic with my basement creepy-crawlers. I'm not sure what kind that was.

RPW sounds perfect for my daughter.

We missed the drone show in DS. We only did DS for a couple of hours and we didn't get to go in many stores. It was the one day that both kids were really grumpy so shopping wasn't that fun. I was bummed I didn't get to go in the Christmas Shop. Oh well. I think you're trip booking skills may of rubbed off on me. We're going this November/December and I'm really close to getting my dh to go for annual passes so we can go for a short trip next May and again in November. Our big problem is picking dates that will work within the AP expiration, sports schedules, and work commitments.

Ahh the drone show....hope they continue it next Christmas.

Oh me too!! I wish it was a little longer though, it's so short!

OMG lol. I googled cricket spider, and I would absolutely move if those things were in my house! Geez.
You guys should definitely check out RPW! They have Rafiki there most of the time!

Ugh, I feel you on the lack of shopping... dad gets grumpy and rushes us! lol. I'm so glad you booked for Nov/Dec, and I really hope you get to go a few more times!!!! i'm jealous!!!!

Only two more days to cover, and that’s sad… but I’m sure a conclusion would be cool. Lol.

We woke up the next day with early fastpasses at EPCOT. I was lucky enough to be selected for the extra magical security check… story of my life.

Once in the park, we went to Spaceship Earth for our first FP of the day.

As always, dad chose a random foreign language for his ride, which is always hilarious.

We went and looked at all of the aquariums after the ride…

My BF and I love fish and have a big aquarium with cichlids. We have 5 big cichlids right now, so of course I was enthralled to look at the Living Seas!
