Storms at Disney - View from our Boardwalk Balcony

I took this video from our balcony at the Boardwalk Inn. It only lasted about a half hour, but it parked the Freedom boats & had high winds during the whole storm!

That's awesome. I love thunderstorms. I have spent 51 days in Orlando over the last year, and haven't seen a good storm. I thought it rained in Orlando. We get monsoons in Arizona. I love those also.

There were a few people that DID walk on the Boardwalk during this, but everyone had evacuated the boat. The movement towards the back was the American flag.

This was not a hurricane! I was at Disney during Charlie, Francis and Jeannine though!

No, This was a month ago now! We had a 2-week Honeymoon. 5 Days at Disney, 7 Days on a cruise, 2 days driving.

Yup.. I'm not any good at creating special effects or anything..haha... and I wasn't down the road at the Studios either!

That reminds me of the storm we got caught in last August. We hung out in the store in China for as long as we could take the air conditioning and being drenched, then trudged through it back to the car. Our next stop was Target for new sneakers.

Yikes... We were pretty lucky we went back to the room when we did - got to watch it unfold from our balcony.

Great video... for the first 5 seconds I thought you were recording from a boat because of how the water was picking up. I can't even imagine being in the parks during a storm like that.

I worked at Disney for a while back in college, stayed seasonal for a while. I worked in maybe two storms similar to this... but I also worked a hurricane. I was on the clock for 3-days straight. I think I ended up working 90+ hours that week. Regardless, I moved back home to Wi. lol.

While I'm sharing videos... figured I'd toss this one up too. I proposed to my wife at the Magic Kingdom... lol. A random guest sent me a video of the going-ons!
