Isn’t that the one right behind an elevator so expect elevator noise . 540 also has a service elevator that it shares a wall with however, the service elevator only runs during the day. I was in 540 last week and it was fine.

Yes that's where I saw it. Right by the elevator. I'm wondering if anyone has had experience with the room as I can deal with a little whirring noise like a fan if it's not TOO bad. Wondering if the size of the room makes up for the sound or if it's not usable space to begin with.
I have stayed in every studio that runs up and down the elevator line. 260,360,460,560 & 566. We choose those for the view and the large balcony. (except for 460). 566 has a large hallway as well as a large balcony. But I find the elevator noise the worst in that room.
And that's exactly what I needed to know. Much appreciated. I will not be requesting that room! Out of the others do you have a favorite? Love a good view and large balcony but it seems thats hard to get in a studio without the elevator noise.
We love 260 the most. First, it has an overhanging ceiling ( the floor of 360) so we can have shade if we want it by moving closer to the room actual room, or sun if we want it by moving closer to the railing. It has the large balcony and the elevator noise is the quietist. But it still can be heard so beware.

The view is way better on the 5th. You can see for miles. But you really need to bring some serious ear plugs. They worked on the elevator about 2 or 3 years ago. I feel it improved it somewhat. And naturally it's not as bad through the night because there isn't as much use. I can hear the clanking on the second floor room. And it is worse on the 5th floor where most of the elevator mechanics are.
ah I see. got it. but are there no rooms on the 5th floor on the pool side that are free of elevator noise? I have never stayed on the 5th floor or the pool side. That is what I was hoping to get for a great view but yes I am not a fan of excessive noise.
Not sure if they've added any additional cabanas but I just read on another site that cabana rentals are open for July.

Had my 2nd stay at BC a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely love it! My DD and I stayed there a few nights last July and since Stormalong Bay was closed this year, was able to snag a 5 night stay there in May this year. DH was skeptical that he would enjoy it as much as I told him he would, but now admits he wishes we had bought a contract there when we were still in the market. I will (secretly because I am "forbidden" to buy any more points) be watching for a small contract that is priced right in my UY that I can try to wheedle out of DH.
I loved our room placement! We were in room 527 and we had a lovely view of the Eiffel Tower in WS and TOT to the right. Plus I could watch the fireworks from our balcony. We were close to the elevator, which put us close to the laundry and the Marketplace to get soda in our refillable cups.

Maybe if I am diligent at exactly 7 months, I can stay here again soon!
