"STORMIN THE BEACH" BCV Owners- and GROUPIES WELCOME HOME !!

I know there is only bedding for four, but are 5 people allowed to sleep in a one bedroom villa? If so, What type of bedding have you brought for this situation?

A sleeping bag is a great idea for a child thank you wouldn't have thought of that one

So I went back and did a double check it seems that BCV does allow a 5th in the 1BR but I haven't done it just read it on other threads over the years when I did a search.

Sleeping bag for a kid would work best for the space and easy to get out of the way. A blow up mattress is an option but I would worry it would make it tough for people to move around and you got to store it during the day.

We went on a cruise once in a 2br suite on NCL and just brought sleep bags for the kids and they loved it.

True on creatures. Came across an armadillo on path Magic Kingdom to Grand Floridian couple nights ago.View attachment 963024

Oh that would be a new one too! We never saw anything on that path but loved listening to the frogs as we walked back to VGF at night.

Random, but we also spotted a bald eagle on one of our drives back to MCO. Definitely didn’t expect that!

We haven’t slept 5 in a BCV 1 bedroom, but we got creative during a stay in a 1 bedroom at VGC about a month ago. VGC has sleeping surfaces for 5, but it was me plus my youngest and three of her besties. The fomo was strong so they all slept in the living area, and I had the king all to myself.

One of them brought a twin air mattress, and it worked great for the space. It was tight but that was of course with the Murphy, pop down single, air mattress, and 4 teen girls stuff everywhere. In a BCV 1 bedroom I don’t think it would be that bad with the murphy bed down and a twin air mattress. Granted it would also depend on if any of your guests staying in that area have mobility issues.

And one more random thought…I’m not sure I’d love to have five in a BCV 1 bedroom due to the bathroom situation. You’ll have two sink areas but just one toilet. That doesn’t sound super fun to me but just wanted to give you a heads up about it 🥴🫩

Thank you i need all the info I can get! I'm sure i will regret this but I did throw the invitation out there for the additional child 😆 So there's only one bathroom in the whole room? And is it in the bedroom??

The bathroom is a toilet/shower/sink accessible from both bedroom and living room, and then there is a bathroom area only in the bedroom area that is a tub and vanity/sink.

There isn't a great 5th surface. Most people who I know do this typically bring or order/deliver a twin air mattress. Best area for that is probably in the bedroom area.

A glimmer of hope for SAB for my 1st wk in June stay???
According to a May 7 update from Mickeyblog.com, Half of SAB is now filled with water.
https://mickeyblog.com/2025/05/05/w...long-bay-at-disneys-yacht-beach-club-resorts/
Even more has been filled since this post. A couple people have posted pics on FB.

I am hoping that this is a positive sign, but others have reported that there is still a lot of equipment around, scaffolding up and landscaping to be done. Another person claimed they "talked to an engineer and said the water has to be in for at least 3 weeks" prior to opening. Maybe to cure?

I will also be there 1st week of June and I am trying NOT to get my hopes up......
