Stormalong Bay Questions

I have been to BWV numerous times and have had many a Strawberry Shortcake at Beaches and Cream looking out over Stormalong Bay. However- I cannot for the life of me figure out how this pool works. Are there three separate areas or are they all connected. Where do you start in the pool and where would you end up? Is the the large ship connected to the pool? How do you access it? Is there an overhead shot of the pool?

I know many questions- but we are staying there one night on our March trip and I intend on spending my time by the pool!!!!!

There is a great overhead photo in this thread. Not all the areas are connected. There are sidewalks and walkways between some. The ship slide is accessed on the beach side, facing the Boardwalk. You have to get out of the pool walk across the walkway that goes to the resorts to get to the spiral staircase for the slide. Not the best setup for small kids, whose parents are trying to watch them.
