The pool at stormalong bay is really huge... I still would get lost after staying there 4 days....

Kat-Thanks! Huge pool! I guess it shouldn't be called a pool really, it's more of a mini-water park.
I see you are from the North shore. My DH is from the South shore. We live in CA now but he is still a devoted Sox fan. He is going through withdrawls with the rain-outs!

Why in the world was he banned in the first place?? I absolutely love his trip reports!!!!

Maybe I stated that slightly wrong. I don't think Tagrel himself was banned but posting his site was. I think his site was seen as competition. Unless I missed something, sometimes things disappear with a blink of an eye. I thought I saw the blink.

Yep, Tagrel is cool. We never had any problem with him or the nature of his site. The reason that site was blocked was due to some posters who got angry here and took their fight and angry words to his forum (as a way to post insults and attacks that were not permitted here), and then posted links back and forth to continue fanning their flames. I'm very happy that we've been able to unblock links to his site.

As for a couple of other sites that are filtered and that posters posted here: there are lots of reasons that sites might be blocked. These include abusing the DIS by using us to advertise, inappropriate content (think profanity), things like that.

Forcing a word or a site that is known to be filtered by disguising or creatively spelling or posting its name is not cool. From the DIS posting guidelines:

Anyone found trying to bypass the filter will have their posting privileges revoked.

I don't want that to happen to anyone here, so please respect the filters here. If the site was blocked, please trust that there was a reason that it was not welcome to be posted.
