I have visited Disney many times during this period and the weather is very unpredictable, anywhere from low 50s to low 80s during the day.

Ive heard that Stormalong Bay is a heated pool, but given its enormous size I cant believe that the water really is warm enough to swim in even if we are lucky enough to get temps in the 70s during the day. Has anyone stayed at YC/BC during these times and did you swim at SAB??

Thanks
M

... and it was pretty chilly for me but not too cold for my kids! They loved it!!! And I must confess that I'm a very fair-weathered swimmer (i.e. a wimp!!), so if you and your family normally swim in 70-degree weather, you should have no trouble doing so at SAB. The thing that was unfortunate about our trip was that the day we arrived it was in the low 80s and perfect for swimming, but the day we finally tried out SAB it was a high-60s to low-70s and cloudy day... Bummer!!! Hopefully you guys will have great weather during your stay! I've been several times right around Valentine's Day and always swam at least a time or two during our stays.

Happy trails,
Sarah

The quiet pools tend to be warmer than the main pool. The hot tubs, of course are really warm. If the air temp isn't too bad, you should get some swimming in.
