Has anyone done this? I dont know how many photos my camera is going to hold and I was thinking about taking my Ipod and saving to that each night so that I would have a new card...any insight on this?
Thanks Guru

I just ordered the camera adapter so I can do this on our trip coming up. It's supposed to be in Monday. Do you have it? I will know more once I get it. I just want to make sure it's easy to get them back off the Ipod.

thats my concern too...if I store them on my ipod then can I get them off just as easily? do I have to download them to my computer-burn the cd and then blah blah blah I'm hoping that if I can I could just download them to a photo kiosk or something...and burn the cd from there...I dont do so well when I have to burn them to cd from my home computer...I actually have to take them somewhere.

How much was the adapter?

Thanks Guru

$29 I think on the IPod site. I couldn't find it in the stores anywhere.

the downside is how slow it is retrieving the photos. it can take 10 minutes or more to retrieve 1 gig of photos and it will eat up a good part of your ipod's battery.

yeah I read the reviews...they dont look as great as I thought they would be....

I do not know of a single kiosk that would allow you to download photos directly from the IPOD.

But instead of burning your disk you could place the photos you choose back onto the flashcard(from your PC) and take that to the kiosk.

I used our iPod last year without too much trouble. With my 500d set at maximum resolution I only dared upload around 100 per day to the iPod, as it eats the battery.

All you then do is plug into your mac/pc and load the pics off the iPod, it is pretty easy and we had no problems with getting the pics back. Seem to remember that to upload to a PC you have to have your iPod set to use as disk storage (means you'll need to manually disconnect from the pc), not sure about if you use a mac (which we have no, so will have to find out soon!)
