Hello! We have a late (8pm) flight home when we disembark from our Dis cruise. Our plan is to go to MK for the day before we head to the airport. I am hoping you experts can help me figure out what to do with all our luggage while we are at MK. We will have 10 ppl. No car, planning to use a shuttle or Dis transport to Port Canveral from MCO and then uber to get to MK after. TIA!

If you are going to MCO, you could try to get a room at the attached Hyatt for the day and store your luggage there.

I was hoping to avoid going from the Port to MCO to drop off luggage and then to MK and then later back to MCO.

Oops — I misread your original post.

I agree it would be out of the way to go to MCO from the port, but I don’t know of any luggage facilities at Walt Disney World other than hotels and small lockers at the parks, but someone else might.

I think your only option might be to book a room at a Disney resort. The challenge is there is a good chance your room won’t be ready and you’ll need to use luggage services but I would not anticipate them holding luggage for 10 people if you only have 1 room booked.

Can you rent a van purely to store luggage while at the park but, time of year may make a difference here as the fl sun cam be hot so storing luggage in vehicle may not work either.

Hmmm... as stated, I know of no place at WDW to store luggage. I would get a cheap room and store it? Or a rental car/van. You will spend considerable time doing all of that. An 8pm flight requires you to be at the airport around 5 to drop bags, security. Add on an hour driving time or so just to get to airport. Can you fly out in the morning instead?

I would rent a 15 passenger van at the port for the day it will be your cheapest option as you would need a couple Ubers for 10 ppl plus any fees for locker storage of luggage for 10 ppl would most likely be more expensive than renting a van driving yourself to MK and leaving all the luggage in the car and then turning it back in at MCO. I’m sure there’s a lot of one way rentals between the two locations that it probably wouldn’t be much of an up charge for the one way.
