stores with best prices on medical equip for medical grad student?

**If this is in the wrong place, pelase move it!**

My son is a grad student in college & he needs to purchase stethoscope, otoscope (sp?) a physicians "exam" kit (reflex hammer, pen light for eye exams, "tuning" forks etc) Blood pressure cuff.
Anyone know stores (brick & mortar or on-line) that offer good prices on these type of things. This is all just so new to us & it seems as the "kids" are all on their own to find them. They've been given a local outlet to get the items but the prices seem high. (Maybe they are not, we just dont' know)
He has a limited budget-living on loans, & summer jobs money, so we're trying to help find the best place for him to go.
If it helps, he is in upstate NY, we are in MD.

eBay. I have bought stethoscopes and other things I need for work there. And if I may, don't go for top of the line on the stethoscope until he is in his residency.That stuff gets lost and stolen all the time and unless he is going into cardiology or pulmonogy, a Sprague will do just fine. Save the Littmann Electronic for graduation. Good luck to him!

Thank you-I'll check there...Also thanks for the info on name brands--he said they mentioned Littman & Welch Allyn (sp?) & when I saw the prices on Welch Allyn I freaked!! Littman were better, but now I will look for Sprague. Debbie
