Stop Waiting for Jet Blue/Southwest Fares to Go Down!

If you are waiting for air fares to drop, it looks unlikely. I heard on the news today that many airlines are raising their fares, including Jet Blue.

Southwest is also raising fares (although not by much, yet):

most of us waiting for low fares are waiting for SWA dings for specific flights/dates. Each day, dings are still popping up with great fares---just not the ones some of us are waiting for! I think we may drive as a back-up plan, but I'm leaning towards the idea that one of the upcoming dings may be the one I'm waiting for.

Never mind waiting for the fares to go down, I'm just waiting for them to be released! (JetBlue for Nov/Dec).

Just saw it on the local newscast....my stomach dropped since I'm waiting to book for Dec with JetBlue. But, they reported that the increases will most likely be in the $10 range...I think I can handle that. Phew.
