Come on, this is ridiculous! It's snowing here in NYC again! After a beautiful day yesterday in the 50's, we have snow with heavy winds - it's freezing outside!

I had to pick up my daughter from school today and I just got back. The roads are a mess. My minivan did a 180 degree spin on the way home. I was going extremely slow with my foot on the brakes coming down a hill. It was a spin in slow mo. Good thing there were no cars coming in the opposite direction at that time and the truck behind me stopped when he saw me starting to spin out!

No one got hurt, DD said "weeee" when it was over. We saw a lot of cars and city buses slipping on the snow. Be careful out there!

Really can't wait to be in Florida and at WDW! Hate the weather!

I hear you on the snow. It's snowing very heavy here in RI. They are expecting 3-6. As you can see from my first countdown, we are less than 24 hours frrom leaving. Staying at SSR for 2 nights, and BWV for 3. Can't wait to just be there.

I hear you all too loud and clear Sleepy, I'm here in Nassau County on Long Island just a few miles from the NYC border. The weather is truly atrocious. I usually pick my daughter up at the bus stop when she comes home from Queens College, but I called her cell a little while ago to tell her I'm sending a Cab for her this time. Reading about your spin confirmed that was a good decision!

I'll be at BWV just about a week after you will, and boy I CAN"T WAIT!!

This has been the worst winter...it just won't END! I am just working and biding my time until I leave the week after next. (feels good to say that) I swear, it had better stop snowing in Michigan and warming up, or I just may find a teaching job there and stay!

I hear you about the crazy weather we've been having. Here in Central NJ, the temp got up to 65 yesterday, so now with today's weather it seems like the apocolypse is near......

I feel your pain . School let out early AGAIN today b/c of the snow. YUCK!!!! I almost got in an accident b/c the roads were a total mess. My kids have missed three play rehearsals in a week because of the weather and now we're in panic mode since the play debuts THIS WEEK! I'm a total stress ball. I want to go to Disney . Just get me thru March and it's easy sailing....OK. I guess life could most definitely be worse BUT I really want it to be warm. Yesterday was such a tease!!! LOL!

I hear you! It's snowing like crazy here on Long Island and I can't stand it anymore. Enough is enough!! Glad you and you daughter are OK. I know how scary those spinouts can be. The same thing happened to me on an entrance ramp to a highway. When I finally stopped a car full of kids passed by and laughed!!
