Stop Making Me Laugh Or I'll Pee My Pants! Go Back! I Lost My Shoe! Trip Report!

I try to be attentive to Mitchell and let him burn off steam w/out interfering with anyone else! It drives me insane to see parents who let their kids do whatever.

I love all of the pics of your ride through Winnie the Pooh! Too bad about Dumbo. That ride is always packed. Cute pictures of Hunter and trying to pull out the sword!

Umm.....excuse me? Why'd you stop singing? I've got more pictures! It's a small world after all! It's a small world after all! It's a small world after all! It's a small small world!

Ever notice that the shape of the koalas faces and ears make a hidden Mickey?

Now that I have the small world song stuck in your head, I think I'll stop here for now.

Ginny I am cracking up here. You said "one of her husbands". Does she have more than one? LOL! And then you said you took one of them to Disney. No I see she may have been married more than once, but was she married to more than one at the same time?! :rotfl2: If so, She's the WOMAN!!! :worship:

Jen, we get a laugh out of my mother. My dad passed away in 1987. In 1988 she remarried. He passed away in 97 and she remarried in 2001. He passed away in 2005 so she has been alone now for awhile. Her name is Mary and my kids call her Mary and Bury. She was very fortunate in her husbands. They were all wonderful men. How they managed to live with her I don't understand. I'm sure if you read comments on my TR you would understand. Let's just say at 85 she is a bitter lonely woman. And I have vowed to never be like her in any way.

Ginny

Thanks, Lisa. Now I can't get that song out of my head and I'll probably be humming it all day at work. I'm sure the extra attorneys I'm working for today will love that (my co-worker who sits by me is out today--her daughter has the Swine Flu).:sad2:

Lisa, Lisa, Lisa. You are so in trouble. You and your small world. Thanks to you I am still singing. Hey, I did notice the date on your pictures. Yay. I honestly think that is the first time it has ever been right. I do love all the pictures you take for your Dis friends. Cause you have some (not to mention names) who hasn't even read the book to her camera yet and has had it 3 years. I agree about PhilarMagic being the best 3D in all of Disney. I do have a picture to add that you missed. But I have to wait to get to my computer.

Have a good day and enjoy your quiet.

Ginny

Just popping in to say I'm enjoying this trip report and all the "conversation" very much. I figured I've lurked long enough and it was time to make an appearance!:) BTW, thanks for the It's A Small World reference. Like everyone else I can't get it out of my head now!!! Ahhh, Disney memories with my little princes and princesses!

Hi Lisa, I have been reading along for the last couple weeks and I am enjoying the updates. Good pictures of the Pooh ride!:thumbsup2

Mary and Bury. How clever! I'm glad she was able to have good husbands and I'm sorry that she had to lose all of them. But it doesn't excuse her attitude. My MIL is the same way. Bitter and mean.

I told her that Mitchell wanted to have a skating party for his birthday this year. Remember he was born on Christmas. Her response? "OH." I was like what? She was like "nothing, I was just thinking that Christmas shopping traffic would be bad, that's all." So instead of being happy that Mitchell will be having a totally awesome birthday this year, she's worried about driving in traffic to get there.

Simple solution  - stay home!

Awesome photos! But...DUDE..."It's a small world" is going to replay in my head for the rest of the day!!!! :rotfl:

Wow!! You got such great pictures on the Pooh ride and It's a small world!!! But, now I'm not going to be able to get that song out of my head the whole day....ugh!!:rotfl: Awww..... But we love the Pooh ride!! It's one of our very favorites.:lovestruc

:lmao:I randomly text the lyrics to it's a small world to my 2 cousins that are going with me on our next trip. Only 30 more days.

Lisa, I'm here from "the site which shall not be named." I'm guessing its based in Nazi Germany.... Anyway- thanks for showing me this place. It's much more "me.":flower3:

Welcome! I am a fellow refugee, banned from the other site for my comments here. I guess as long as I am banned, I can say whatever I want now, right? Unbelieveable. Careful what you say on the phone....they might be monitoring that too.

Wow! You got banned too? I was given "a stern talking-to" but I bit my tongue (I would've been banned too if not), packed up my bags, and headed here to friendlier terrain!

I love Lisa's reports (even though she is such a deviate!) and, after a few weeks of poking around, found that these boards are filled with great, funny, open-minded people - no shots fired upon someone who asks "can I do this or is it against Disney's rules?" types of questions!

There is just one moon and one golden sun and a smile means friendship to EVERYone!!!!! LOL!

Hi Everyone! :cool1:
Lisa, do I get extra gold stars because I am keeping up with your trip report while I am at WDW?
So funny to read your latest installments because I am sitting in my bed at Wilderness Lodge, I rode It's a Small World tonight, watched Hallowishes from Tomorrowland, rode Buzz Lightyear(no rude CMs tonight), and rode TTA. Yesterday we did Stitch's Great Escape for the first time ever. I knew I wouldn't like it and I was right it was horrible.

When you said that you missed TTA more than Space Mountain, I know what you mean. That is exactly how we felt in April when we were here and TTA was closed. I have been riding TTA alot this trip so I can watch the progress of the Space Mountain work. They are working on the entry Plaza area right now. 2 weeks ago it was all dirt. This week they have poured new concrete. The bathrooms under the old skyway have been tiled this week and it looks like they are working on the plumbing now. Tuesday night the lights were off in Space Mountain and we could see the new projections that they have on the ceiling, they are much better than the old flying chocolate chip cookie. Tonight they were running the cars and testing (no people in them).

Man, I'm too nervous to bother others on those rides to take pics like that :p. Though, maybe if I can figure out the "night mode" that I found during Country Bear Jamboree last time, I could do something (I won't use my flash on those rides). Great pics as always!

I have a confession to make...

I've never ridden Space Mountain ><. Back when I went as a kid, I was scared of all roller coasters (though I did manage BTMRR a couple times, and enjoyed it). I didn't start enjoying them until after the last time we went as a kid :(. Of course, it was still down when we went in Sept too! I think that was one of the things that drove me to plan my Feb trip :p.

I DID always love TTA though (well, actually, I love the Peoplemover) and we were able to ride that this time, so that was good.
