Stop Making Me Laugh Or I'll Pee My Pants! Go Back! I Lost My Shoe! Trip Report!

Nobody has to tell me that I can't sing...I know I can't. Doesn't stop me when I want to pester the kids and John though.

I'll have to try this when the men in my house aggravate me!

My boss says I sing in the key of G. He states he doesn't know many people that sing in that key. I always knew I was special:rotfl2:

I could have told you that you were special. :)

I forgot to mention in my thread, Mark fell down the stairs the other morning. He got up to take Cookie out (you'll remember she got into chocolate on Christmas and she had to go out several times during the night/morning). Well Mark got to the last of the three stairs and his heel caught or something and he tumbled down the rest and kicked the dog in the process. I heard the garage open so I knew that he was okay...or at least he got up and was able to get outside with the dog; Markie was sleeping on the sofa in the family room (he refuses to sleep in his room because that's where grandpa slept the last time he was at our house for any length of time) and he peeked and saw that his dad was not limping so he assumed he was okay and went back to sleep; Andy never heard it. Let's just say that Mark couldn't believe that not one of us got up to be sure he was okay. I felt bad at the time and then thought it was kind of funny. His big toe hurts and his butt!

Poor Mark. He is going to have to go to the neurologist with me. I am glad he is not landing on his neck or shoulder. That would re injure his old injury. I always fall forward on my knees and hands. I have learned to hold my face up off the concrete.

I understand Markie not wanting to sleep in his room. It is hard on children to lose their parents but it is so super hard on a grandchild. I know you are thankful Markie was so close to your Dad.

Bleepity bleep! You can stop singing now. I just saw your friendship requests and have accepted them. (Like we weren't friends already) It's now official.:thumbsup2

Thank goodness. Christine went to the file room and closed the door so she wouldn't have to listen to me. I bet Kathy is at the Gyn's office just singing away and they are going to refer her elsewhere.

I'm as good as I can be I guess! LOL! Just can't wait for this baby to get here!!! Hopefully sooner than later! Hope you are enjoying your birthday!!!!

I think there is a medicine for that. :rotfl2:

Hey! I'm glad that you are enjoying the report. I am about to write another Branson trip report now. Once I have Branson done, I'll get back to my Disney report.

When I last left off on the Branson trip report we had made it back to our hotel and it was time to walk over to the Grand Country Music Hall to see the show. The hotel grounds were all lit up with Christmas lights. I tried to take a couple of pictures but it was so cold and windy that all I wanted to do was hunker down and run to the Music Hall.

We were getting a little hungry but didn't have time to stop and get anything to eat. We bought nachos, a bucket of popcorn and two drinks. Here's a pictures of Hunter, Lacey and Mama sitting in the theater waiting on the show to start.

John didn't get in the picture because he was too busy talking to the man and woman sitting next to him. They were will a group of seniors who came to Branson for the week.

Speaking of the group, they were sitting beside us and in front of us. Lucky for me and I say that rather sarcastically, I had this rather large (insert giganticly tall and round) man seated beside me. He flowed over his theater seat and spilled right over into mine. He sat down and in two seconds flat, he was sound asleep. Now, you'll all recall that John can fall asleep pretty quickly but this guy had John beat. I would have been okay with his sleeping if he hadn't snored too. When I say snore, I mean SNORE! His head had fallen forward and his chin was sitting on his chest. Every time he would take a breath, he sounded like a horse. His lips were even flapping up and down. It was hilarious. Here's Lacey's reaction:

When John falls asleep somewhere, I nudge him every now and then just so that he won't get into that deep sleep where he snores in public. This guy had a lady sitting beside him who must have been used to it because she completely ignored him. She even got up and walked out of the theater during intermission and left him there.

Moving on. Our seats were pretty good, I think we were on Row 16 which wasn't too bad. At least we were in the center of the theater so we could see everything. The first half of the show was a Christmas show. I didn't know this ahead of time. It was a little bit boring. Every once in a while the comedian would come out and liven the place up.

At one time, they pulled a lady out of the audience and the comedian sang to her. He was absolutely hilarious. He put his leg in her lap, pulled up his pants leg, run his hand down his calf and said "does this do anything for ya?" Lacey started laughing so hard which made all of us laugh even harder. Then, he said "oh dear, there's a tick." and acted like he was picking it off. Lacey almost spit out her drink. She thought that was the funniest thing ever. She couldn't stop laughing. You know how you get when you can't stop thinking about something and you just keep on laughing? That's the way Lacey got.

The Christmas part of the show was over and there was an intermission. Of course, I went to the bathroom. When do I ever miss a bathroom break? Um, never.

The second half of the show was better than the first. They started with songs from the 50's and went on through to the 90s.

The comedian did These Boots Are Made For Walking and was so funny:

There was a group of four guys who were pretty much the stars of the show. At one point they came out singing YMCA. Let me tell you something.....the guy dressed as the construction worker was something else. Those Abs were to die for. Even my Mama commented on them.

The pictures in the theater didn't turn out too well but I'll post them anyway:

I didn't care for the sailor guy. He was one of those people who thought their poop doesn't stink. He kept talking in this silly country twang the entire time, almost like a country DJ, and it got on my nerves. Thank goodness, he sang better then he could speak.

The policeman was the bass singer. His voice was so deep you couldn't understand some of his words sometimes. I tried to get a pictures of the guy moonwalking but didn't get a good one. He could moonwalk so good.

The guy dressed like the indian was a great singer and really got into the act:

The seniors all around us were singing YMCA and doing all the motions which Lacey and Hunter got a kick out of.

The show lasted over 2 hours and was very good. I'd love to see just the comedy show but this was the only one we could work into our schedule.

Once the show was over, we decided we had to find some food. Since it was late, we knew we'd have to get back on the busy road to find something. We drove almost to the end of the trip before we found a Wendy's that we could turn in to. Lacey ordered the bbq chicken pieces. I ordered a Jr. burger. John ordered chili. Mama ordered a broccoli cheese baked potato and Hunter ordered a kids burger meal. It took us forever to get our food and to get back to our hotel.

We got back to the room and started taking out our food. Of course, it was all wrong. Hunter had cheese on his burger. Lacey had buffalo chicken pieces instead of bbq. Mama and John wer the only ones who had the right food. Oh well, I ate the crappy chicken. They had so much sauce on them, I had to literally wrap them in paper towels. I peeled off the cheese from Hunter's cold burger. I gave Lacey my meal. Oh well, I knew we should have checked the bags before we left but we didn't. Too tired and hungry.

Up next: Silver Dollar City!
