My dd will be 5 when we go to Disney in Dec, and I need to find a stoller for her. She is already the size of a 7 yr old (not sure of her height-she's VERY tall for her age, but she weighs 56 lbs). Anyone know where I could find a stroller that she could fit in? I know some people frown upon older children in strollers, but dd currently has mono, and it is making her just exhausted. :( I want a place she can sit if she wants to, and just chill for a while.I will also have my 1 yr old with me too, so I want it to be something comfy that he can nap in. We have a stroller already for him, but I guess it would be easier if it were a double. :confused3 Thanks!

My dd was 6 when we first went to Disney and she wasn't the greatest of park walkers so we went to Toys R Us and bought a $20.00 stroller and took it on the trip. We used it so much that week we were there that on the final day when we were returning to our hotel to get Mears to the airport, the stroller croaked! The good thing was, we didn't lose anything, it was only $20 (compared to what a wheelchair would have cost!) and the peace of having a happy child = priceless :flower:

My son was 6 when he went and we used a stroller. It is too much walking for such a little person. I just used a cheapy umbrella stroller that we had for years and he still rides in it sometimes when we go somewhere we walk a lot. He is 52 lbs. My DD was 15 mths at the time and since we had 2 strollers I got the connectors for $10 and used those, worked out great and so many people asked me where I got the connectors from. It also made it easier on the bus b/c they folded up easily. No one should frown upon a young child in a stroller at Disney,t hey should make strollers for adults, I know I sure could use one after walking all day.

Hi, We just got back and my 5 1/2 year old also is tall and big for her age 56 pounds as well and we needed a stroller for her as she got very tired. We rented doubles for 15.00 at the parks and it worked out great. She had plenty of room and was very happy! Good Luck :earsboy:
