We dined at STK twice - once, just my husband and I and the second time with our son and daughter in law - and everyone absolutely loved it! I had a peppercorn-crusted filet that was the best steak I've ever had (and we're from Chicago - home to some great steakhouses). The sides are made for sharing, but they're not as large as at most other steakhouses. The bread is crazy good, but for some reason they only serve it downstairs, so whatever you do, don't accept upstairs seating. We were seated at a table in the bar area both times and really enjoyed the atmosphere there. There is a DJ, but I liked what he played and we didn't find it too loud. Other reviewers disagree, and maybe it was better to be seated in the bar area than the main dining room. As at most steakhouses, everything is ala carte and the wine is ridiculously overpriced. It's a beautiful, modern steakhouse, and the service both times was exceptional. Very personable sommelier.
